On a moraine hill at an altitude of about 160 meters, as you can see the station is located on a strategic site for the monitoring of summer thunderstorms events , located at NW from Verona city, on the Garda's lake hinterland, from here you can observe impressive thunderstorms clouds on a site where not rarely they assume a severe strong intensity , the hail cumulonimbus, enriched with water vapor taken from lake basin prefer an West--> East direction from Low Lake Bresciano/Mantovano to often turn at North-East to Adige valley, the Lessini mountains and the Middle-Low Vicentino and Padovano.
